Documents

Documents required for importing used household goods, personal effects, and related shipments.

  • Unaccompanied Personal Effects Statement (Customs Form B534), available from the ABF website
  • Copy of passport (including Australian entry stamp; some ports require copies of all pages including blank pages)
  • Full descriptive inventory in English
  • Original bill of lading (OBL) / air waybill (AWB)
  • LCL or FCL Packing Declaration (completed in English by the packer or supplier)
  • Statutory declaration if someone other than the owner will be clearing the goods
  • Evidence of identity (EOI) check at an ABF counter, or electronic submission via an international removals company
