IAM has established the U.S. Domestic Asset-Based Mover Group (DAB). Often, when people think of IAM, they think it’s an association for movers involved in international moving. While that’s certainly one facet, IAM is an international association for all movers, and we can help you grow your business, even if you currently do no international business.
A DAB is a US Domestic Asset Based Mover that is an independent mover or van line agent with trucks, crews, and warehouses.

DAB Ally

As a DAB Ally, you’re part of an exclusive network with unique opportunities to collaborate with the DMG and elevate your brand. Here’s how you can maximize your involvement:
  • Sponsorship Opportunities: Enhance your company’s visibility through exclusive DAB Ally sponsorships.
  • DMB Involvement: Be considered for ad hoc membership on the DMB, as selected by the DMB Chair.
  • Task Force Participation: Collaborate on DAB-focused task forces addressing key priorities.

  • IAM Mobility Exchange: Promote your DAB Ally designation in IAM’s global directory.

Any company who is an IAM member and has a validated listing on IAMX can request to join the DAB Ally group. The DAB Membership task force will review the application and make a recommendation to IAM for inclusion. You can request DAB Ally membership by emailing membership@iamovers.org.
