Giselle Angelica Muñoz is the Managing Director of Goetz Moving & Storage, Inc., a proudly Filipina-founded and Filipina-led company that has served the international moving and relocation industry since 1984. Since assuming the role of Managing Director four years ago, she has led the organization’s continued growth and modernization while upholding the company’s long-standing reputation for quality, integrity, and customer-focused service. Today, Goetz employs more than 200 employees and provides comprehensive domestic and international moving, relocation, and logistics services to multinational corporations, diplomatic missions, government agencies, and private clients.

A lawyer by profession, Giselle brings a multidisciplinary legal background that strengthens her leadership in the moving and relocation industry. Her experience spans labor law, contract law, immigration law, and maritime law, providing valuable insight into the complex regulatory, operational, and cross-border issues affecting international mobility. This legal foundation enables her to approach business decisions with a balanced perspective that combines operational excellence, regulatory compliance, sound governance, and effective risk management.

Under her leadership, Goetz has continued to invest in organizational development, operational improvements, and service quality while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement. She believes that the moving industry succeeds through collaboration, ethical business practices, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Giselle is an active participant in both regional and global industry organizations. She is a member of the International Association of Movers (IAM), the Pan Asian International Movers Association (PAIMA), and the Harmony Relocation Network. She has consistently attended the conventions and other events. She also serves on the PAIMA Board of Directors, where she works alongside fellow industry leaders to support the continued development of the international moving community.

Throughout her career, Giselle has strongly advocated for increasing diversity and expanding opportunities for women in leadership within an industry that has traditionally been male-dominated. As a second-generation leader of a family-owned business, she combines respect for the values that built the company with a forward-looking approach focused on innovation, sustainability, digital transformation, and talent development.

Her nomination as a representative to the IAM Core Group reflects her commitment to contributing thoughtfully to the global moving community. She is passionate about fostering collaboration among members, encouraging the exchange of best practices, supporting the next generation of industry leaders, and ensuring that the voices of Asian movers and family-owned businesses are well represented in shaping the future of the international moving industry.
