IAM Leadership Alliance

About the IAM Leadership Alliance Council

The IAM Leadership Alliance Council provides practical tools and resources for current and emerging leaders across the IAM membership.
In collaboration with the Global Moving Foundation (GMF), the Council develops webinars and leadership content focused on workforce resilience and leadership development. Sessions such as Beyond Tactical Leadership and Resilient Leadership in a Cross-Cultural Industry deliver clear, applicable guidance members can implement within their organizations.
The Council’s most recent program, No Brown M&Ms: Why Accountability Lives in the Details, is available on demand in IAM Learning. Using the well-known Van Halen contract clause as a case study, the session highlights a simple operational truth: small missed details often signal larger execution gaps.
The accompanying worksheet helps teams identify communication breakdowns, unclear ownership, inconsistent processes, and other early warning signs, reinforcing practical accountability before small issues become larger problems.
