Graebel Companies has launched Switch, an AI-powered virtual relocation assistant integrated into its CitySwitcher platform, aimed at supporting employees who manage part or all of their own relocations.
In a press release, Denver-based Graebel said Switch is designed to address a gap in self-managed moves, where employees receiving lump-sum benefits or cash allowances often navigate relocation decisions without direct support from a mobility team. The tool provides neighborhood-matching recommendations and destination-specific guidance intended to help employees evaluate housing options in unfamiliar cities, answering questions in real time, comparing options, and surfacing resources based on where an employee is in the moving process.
Graebel also frames the tool as a benefit to mobility teams, noting it is intended to reduce time spent on routine employee questions, direct employees toward vetted relocation resources instead of generic web searches or consumer AI tools, and extend relocation guidance to employee populations beyond those on lump-sum or fully managed programs.
