United States Transportation Command (TRANSCOM) has released an update setting out plans for the Personal Property Program following the cancelation and general failure of the Global Household Goods Contract.
In the announcement dated October 15, 2025, TRANSCOM confirmed that they would maintain the DP3 tender program for at least three years with the PCS Joint Task Force (PCS JTF) in place until at least the end of the 2026 peak season or until a follow-on organization is established. Major General Curtis will also continue to act as PCS JTF Commander.
The Advisory confirmed that the DP3 systems would be modernized into a Government-controlled software solution and that an ongoing market study by research economists of commercial moving and storage rates would be completed in order to validate the Tender of Service rates for fairness and reasonableness.
Readers can review the full Advisory here and IAM will continue to update membership as other details become available.
