UniGroup has appointed Brian Cameron to the newly created role of chief commercial officer, effective September 14, tasking him with modernizing the company’s commercial strategy across its member organizations and agent network.
In the new role, Cameron will oversee marketing, brand strategy, business insights, sales, and member success for the St. Louis-based van line group. UniGroup says the position is designed to strengthen commercial performance for its agents while sharpening the value the company delivers to customers across its brands.
Cameron joins with more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience. He most recently served as executive vice president and chief marketing officer at Acosta Group, leading enterprise marketing across a multi-agency portfolio in North America and Europe. Before that, he spent over a decade at Premium Retail Services as its first marketing hire, helping build the commercial organization through the growth period that led to Acosta Group’s 2021 acquisition of the company. Earlier roles included sales and marketing positions at Ticketmaster and the American Red Cross.
“Brian brings a strong track record of developing commercial strategies that drive growth while aligning teams around a common vision,” said John Hartmann, UniGroup president and CEO, adding that Cameron’s experience will help strengthen member support and deepen customer engagement.
IAM Member Impact: Members that are UniGroup agents should anticipate new commercial-strategy initiatives from headquarters in the coming months as Cameron settles into the role.
