Industry consolidation looks set to continue in 2026 as Coleman Worldwide Moving announced that the largest agent for Allied Van Lines will join forces with fellow Allied agent, Siracusa Moving and Storage.
In a press release, the Alabama-headquartered company with over 60 locations across the United States said that the consolidation brings together Coleman’s experience in military and consumer moving with Siracusa’s strength in the corporate account market. Under the agreement, Siracusa Moving & Storage will continue operating as a standalone business unit under the Coleman umbrella with Dan Siracusa will remain in his leadership role.
The announcement outlined that the partnership will deliver meaningful cost efficiencies across administration, fleet operations, materials procurement, and over-the-road expenses “through unified systems and enhanced purchasing power” and that Professional Van Operators will also benefit from thousands of additional shipments with improved front-haul and back-haul balance, reduced deadhead miles, faster load cycles, expanded intrastate authority, and increased revenue potential.
“As companies look to the future to better serve their customers, it is vital to lead through the changing environment we operate in. This agreement creates a foundation of stability and strength that allows us to do exactly that. We are moving forward with absolute confidence, and I am excited about the continued success of Siracusa and Coleman as we define the next chapter of our industry together,” said Coleman Worldwide Moving Chief Executive Officer, Lacy Brakefield.
