IAM leaders were among a select group of industry representatives who met with the Department of War Personal Property Activity (PPA) last week to represent the interests of IAM members engaged in military moving.

Brian Limperopulos and Dan Bradley, along with the leadership of the American Trucking Associations’ Moving and Storage Conference (MSC) and the National Defense Transportation Association, were welcomed for an industry engagement meeting at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. In a social media post, the PPA highlighted that the engagement demonstrates how leaders are operationalizing trust through transparency and reinforcing partnerships. “Together, the delegation of leaders sought to align on strategic goals to strengthen collaboration and elevate the quality of care in the movement of household goods for our service members and their families as we approach the 2026 Peak PCS (permanent change of station) season,” said the PPA.

Commenting on the meeting, IAM President Brian Limperopulos reported that IAM was honored to join PPA leadership in an important step in building the kind of structured, ongoing industry engagement that will strengthen the defense personal property program for service members and their families. “We look forward to continued engagement with the Department of War Personal Property Activity and to building a personal property program that drives the best possible outcomes for the military family while ensuring a sustainable industry is able to deliver on those outcomes,” said Limperopulos.
