IAM announces the creation of the IAM Industry Technology Forum, a new practitioner-led initiative designed to bring together technology professionals from across the global moving, logistics, and relocation industry to collaborate on the technology challenges transforming the profession.
As cybersecurity requirements become more complex, artificial intelligence accelerates, and supply chain technologies continue to evolve, moving companies are increasingly facing technology challenges that no organization should have to solve alone. Until now, the industry has lacked a dedicated forum where technology practitioners could connect with peers, exchange ideas, and develop practical solutions to shared challenges.
“Technology challenges don’t stop at company boundaries,” said Brian Limperopulos, president of IAM. “Companies across our industry are often solving the same problems independently. The Industry Technology Forum creates a place where members can collaborate, exchange ideas, and strengthen the industry together.”
Operating under IAM’s Technology & Communications Committee, the forum will serve as a peer-to-peer community for IT directors, technology managers, and other technology professionals working within moving companies, transportation service providers, warehouse operators, and corporate relocation firms. Unlike a traditional committee, the forum is designed to focus on practical implementation, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving rather than governance.
